GREENRAISING DRIVE! From JANUARY 15-29, you can order anything from www.greenraising.com and they will donate 45% profit to the school! (You can purchase from them year round, but proceeds are 25% the rest of the year.) There is a table set up by the office with a sampling of items for sale. Visit the website for more!  We get free shipping on all items if you ship to the preschool for pickup. (You can pay for shipping to other addresses.) No catalogs, no complications, just safe, online ordering. Share the link with friends and family! Anyone can choose A Child’s View Cooperative Preschool in the dropdown menu when you order.

FEBRUARY 1 is A Child’s View Night at Monical’s Pizza! Monical’s will donate 20% of every dollar spent that day by anyone with our Community Day flier. You must have the flier to get the donation, but anyone can bring in a flier. I’ll send the file in a separate email and you will get a hard copy in your box. You may use the office copier to make as many copies as you can distribute.  Additional perks? A great excuse to eat out! Meet up with other ACVCP families! Hope to see you there!

 

TRIVIA NIGHT! Friday, March 4!

What is Trivia Night? A fun night out without the kids! Food (delicious appetizers and deserts)! Cash bar! Silent Auctions with fantastic possibilities! A Mardi Gras theme! 50/50 raffle and Heads or Tails games with the chance to win cash! And—of course—a mind-bending trivia contest! What is this trivia contest, you ask? We provide the game (10 rounds of 10 questions)—along with the snacks, cash bar, and the rest—and you bring your team. Organize a table of 6-8 people ($15/person paid in advance, or $20 at the door) and come join the fun.

 

The night’s theme will be Mardi Gras, so bone up on your Fat Tuesday-related trivia (just one of TEN categories)! And for the creative and hungry among us, you can even compete in a contest for the group that brings the best Mardi Gras-themed food and decorations to their table. Want dinner with your Trivia? Bring a creatively Mardi-Gras themed meal for your table and compete for a prize! (No beverages, please. There will be bottled water and a cash bar.) Not that hungry or not that creative? No worries, there will be plenty of appetizers and deserts to go around for your ticket price.

 

This is potentially the preschool’s biggest fundraiser of the year. We really need as many people to participate as possible!

• 20 tables will fill the event. Organize a table!

• Share the fun with friends, family, coworkers. Anyone is welcome!

• Perhaps your employer would sponsor a table as a charitable donation? Can’t hurt to ask.

• Also, the better silent auction and prizes, the better the event. Do you have goods or services you could donate? If so, let me know and I’ll put you in touch with the right contact person.

 

So find a sitter, gather your friends, and come play trivia!
