Curriculum Goals

At A Child's View Cooperative Preschool our curriculum includes lessons in four areas of development:

• Social/Emotional: becoming part of a group, developing independence, following rules and using self control
  
  
• Physical: increasing large and fine motor skills
  
  
• Cognitive: using and strengthening thinking skills so that materials and imaginations can be used to demonstrate competency
  
  
• Language: using words to communicate with others-both adults and children, listening and understanding conversations and stories, recognizing letters and words and begin using writing for a purpose
